The Fire Cover Pro fire blanket is a simple yet highly effective tool for quickly smothering small fires.
Its operating principle is based on cutting off the oxygen supply, which, in the case of conventional fires, leads to extinguishment. In the case of electrical fires, the airtight seal helps keep flames and smoke under control, reducing the risk of the fire spreading until the power supply can be disconnected or professional intervention takes place.
Easy to handle and quick to deploy, it can be a useful addition for improving fire safety in workshops, car parks, industrial facilities, homes, and public institutions alike.

Fire Cover Pro fire department test under real-life conditions

The test shown in the video was carried out with the involvement of the fire department. For the trial, we used a smaller 6x8 m Fire Cover Pro fire blanket, which fully covered the Ford Mondeo estate car. However, the conditions during the test were not ideal: extremely strong winds continuously moved the blanket, allowing fresh air to reach the fire through the gaps that formed. As a result, it was not possible to completely smother the flames under these conditions.

Despite this, the blanket performed excellently: it maintained its structural integrity under prolonged heat exposure while visibly reducing the amount of smoke escaping. The thermal camera footage also showed that it effectively shielded the heat emitted by the fire. After the test, apart from soot contamination, the blanket showed no significant damage, so after thorough cleaning it remained suitable for future reuse.
